--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, I looked around and I found that there weren't any programs to edit tdf
files. So, I took the liberty of making one myself. I'll be the first to admit, it
isn't perfect, and it doesn't do everything, so don't bother complaining. If I recieve
enough feedback with interest in this program I'll update it. So if you like it tell me
about it, tell me what I should add or take away, and tell me how much it helped you make
new cool units.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What it does:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It makes tdf files for the features\corpses and download directories
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What it doesn't do:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Open tdf files
Teach you how to make tdf files
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What you need:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 A brain
 A computer (duh!)
 Windows 95
 Total Annihilation
 A tutorial on unit making
 An idea for a unit
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tutorial
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, you got all that good, here is what you do, you make your unit directory,
in that directory, make sure you have a folder called download, and a folder called
features, and in that folder, a folder called corpses. When you have all that, run the
program, fill in the information (some hints are given), and goto the file menu, and
select write TDF. a new window will pop up, select your unit directory, make sure the
icon is a little open folder, and press the ok button. That is it, the program
automatically writes the files where they belong, and you are read to move on to the
next part of your unit.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Future Features:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Open tdf files
 More dropdown boxes
A Help file (not very likely, but anything could happen)
Tooltips (more likely than a help file, but still not very likely)
Some other stuff I can't remember, or you haven't asked for yet
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Future Releases:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 A good tutorial
An all around unit editor (if I get REALLY ambitious)
 Some cool units
 An editing faq
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, if your still reading, your either bored, or looking for some more hints on unit making
sorry, there are none, so close notpad, and start making some good units, ok? Good.

Laterz,
DeL
